Summer time

Summer is already here, so all you have to do is to go out and discover the wonders the world hides. Try for example, Spain, as it is an amazing country, with an outstanding diversity that manages to please even the most difficult type of tourist. Spain’s Costa del Sol is the sunniest and one of the most famous tourist destinations in the country; one of the reasons why people from all over the world come to Costa del Sol during their holidays is that it can be described as a paradise for golfers. So, if you love the sport and dream about a golf vacation that also includes blue water and warm sun, visit Costa del Sol!

The route

Millions of tourists choose the popular ‘’golf-safari’’ along the picturesque Andalusian coast, because it is a nice way to enjoy the breathtaking landscapes and to try the numerous golf resorts. Your trip should start in the beautiful Malaga, also known for being the birthplace of Pablo Picasso. Heading to the mountains, you meet the charming Mijas Pueblo, which is a typical Andalusian whitewashed village, with cobbled, narrow streets and welcoming inhabitants. ‘’rent villas spain’’ should be your pit stop, as it is nestled idyllically in a green valley and housed by an old country house, enjoying the shade coming from the orange and avocado trees. However, Mijas is not the golf capital of the coast, so you’ll have to drive another 35 kilometers in order to reach Marbella.

Marbella hosts numerous 9 and 18 holes courses for all types of levels; visit the Golf Rio Real, the Cabopino Golf or the Santa Clara Golf and take a picture into your minds of the outstanding views towards the Mediterranean Sea. If you want a unique experience, try playing golf at night at the ‘’Dama de Noche’’ club! If you want to test your skills, drive about half an hour from Marbella to Monte Mayor; the golf course here is really special: it crosses rivers and canyons.

You’ll need precision, great skills and lots of energy in order to finish the course! Your golf safari should end in Cadiz, the city where you’ll find the old and famous ‘’Valderrama Golf Club’’. As you spend your holiday along the beautiful Costa del Sol, also enjoy its beaches, the restaurants that serve delicious food and the entertainment opportunities, as these are the ingredients for a perfect holiday!
